Three key components of the process
Polygenic risk score tests |
---|
These tests predict risks for various conditions, including:
These tests use a validated mathematical algorithm and take into account low-penetrance gene variations and clinical parameters. These tests are not designed to detect high-risk single gene disorders or cancer syndromes like hereditary breast ovarian cancer (BRCA1/BRCA2), Lynch syndrome or familial adenomatous polyposis. |
Pharmacogenomics (PGx) test |
---|
We all metabolise medicines differently. This test identifies medications that may cause adverse events or harm in certain people. We will advise you on alternative medications We’ll test your capacity to metabolise over 100 commonly prescribed medications. |
