How it works

The Novii patch is placed on the mother’s abdomen to non-invasively detect, via Bluetooth, foetal and maternal heart rate, eliminating the need for separate devices and ultrasound Doppler’s.

Its ‘peel and stick’ wireless design means it can continuously monitor uterine activity and heart rate while giving Mums the freedom of movement and the use of non-pharmacological forms of pain relief like the shower, birth ball and birth stool, without feeling like you are tied to the bed.

The freedom to change positions and be upright often has a positive impact on foetal positioning.
